Choose your life wisely.

Your life.

Have you looked back and reflected on how your 10 years, 20 years or however long you have lived?

Did you arrive in your destination?

Are you where you want to be?

I certainly am not…yet.

I don’t know what your destination looks like, but I’m pretty sure something has changed.

Something in your life changed because of an event.

Look back now.

Can you see yourself in your elementary years? The dreamy eyed kid with the dream of doing something great in the future?

What happened? What do you see that made you not want to follow that dream?

I know it’s hard.

But you have to move on because you have moved on.

Now, you are in your high school years. What do you see?

Why did you not join the sports team? Or the chess club?

Did you study for that one hard exam when you know it could change your scholarship if you failed?

Why did you not join art class?

Were you afraid of what your other classmates would think of you? Your parents? Your siblings? Your neighbors?

Well, you can’t go back now.

This is only a looking-glass Time Machine. You can’t change what you’ve done.

Now, on the next decade of college and beyond.

You are now in going to look into the recent years.

Ask yourself, “Did I do what I want to do? Why am I here now?”

You probably didn’t realize this yet, but you are the result of all your decisions.

The result of all your questions and you, right now, are the answer.

The answer might not be what you want.

But you gave the answer.

I am the result of me.

Am I satisfied with it?

I am.

Because I steered to the direction that I want.

If you are not, what direction are you going to turn?

You know where to turn.

Just ask yourself, “Am I okay with the current situation? For the next five to ten years?”

If you are, good! I am not here to change your mind.

But I want you to analyze your life.

You might be going in the right direction.

The answer is in your hands.

Your sweaty, nervous hands on the steering wheel of life.

You have nowhere else to go but forward.

So adapt. Steer right. Turn left. Make a U-turn if you have to.

I don’t have all the answers. But I am learning.

I am making changes for me so I can change others around me.

Join me. You might learn a thing or two.
